Adobe Plans to Launch Illustrator App for iPad After Photoshop

Adobe has planned to introduce Illustrator as its next key application on Apple’s iPad post Photoshop. This is the latest attempt of the software giant to develop a version of its topmost desktop offerings for mobile equipments, as per people having knowledge about the matter.

The company will be previewing Illustrator for Apple iPad during its November-scheduled Max Conference, prior to launching it officially the following year, as per the people. Illustrator, the software on which designers depend on for creating graphics and digital drawing, would follow-up the release of Photoshop on iPad end of this year.

Illustrator is one of the most famous apps of the company when it comes to its ‘Creative Cloud’ software suite. The Illustrator iPad version would mirror several features already available for its desktop version.

Adobe has launched an array of other apps for iPad recently, including Premiere Rush and Fresco which do not offer as many attributes as the soon-to-be-released Illustrator and Photoshop apps. But still, testers of the iPad Photoshop version have not liked it for the absence of a few key elements which are available for desktop, reported Bloomberg News previous week.

Notably, Adobe is yet to make an official announcement about the launch of Illustrator app for iPad.
