Coolpad officially released android marshmallow 6.0 or you can call Cool UI 8.0 officially update for Coolpad Note 3 Lite a month ago. The new operating system is packed with new features which are amazing like the slide from bottom to get the handful of shortcuts like Wifi, torch, calculator etc.

Coolpad Note 3 Lite Marshmallow Stock Rom comes in two variants and that is both in SP tool flash-able version and custom recovery flash-able version but we will be posting the SP Flash Tool method because it is quite convenient for most of the users.

How To Install Coolpad Note 3 Lite Marshmallow Stock Rom

  1. Install SP_Driver_V2.0 and driver_setup_150313
  2. Extract V6.0.002.P0.160614.8298_I00.rar and keep it on desktop
  3. Open SP Flashtool and run flash_tool.exe (run as administrator) sp flashtool screenshot
  4. When the SP Flash tool window opens > Click on scatter loading and select MT6753_Android_scatter.txt from the extracted folder on desktop coolpad note 3 marshmallow stock rom firmware picture
  5. Click on Download from the top screenshot
  6. Now switch off your Coolpad Note 3 Lite and then connect it to your pc/laptop using USB cable and press the Volume Up button two times. This should flash the custom recovery on your device and give a successful message on the SP Flash Tool Window
  7. Now boot your device, it will take 2-5 minutes on first boot

  6. Thank you.. Admin.. I ve updated my cp n3 lite to Coolui 8.0 without any problems or difficulties. Its working fine and awesome UI. It’s like iPhone experience:-)

    • for rooting, u will have to install TWRP first.And for that follow these set of instruction carefully:
      1.Flash this ROM using SP Flash tool.
      2.Flash the TWRP immediately after this (do not boot up MM-it will get locked)
      3.Enter recovery (twrp) > keep read only status > install SuperSU from your OTG pendrive/sd card.
      4.reboot…it will take some time..say 10-15 minutes…so be patient.
      {if your existing twrp works,fine,else inform me,an alternative’working’ twrp link will be sent}

        I am not able to flash twrp recovery after flashing this rom. can you give the alternate twrp link ?

  24. this is giving error as “unfortunately, cool manager has stopped”. this happens as soon as i add a google account to the phone. whithout google account fone is working superb. plz help.
