Darkness Redefined for Lenovo P1m is the latest custom ROM based on Android Nougat 7.1.2 ported in December 2017. You might have used the last AOKP ROM which we posted back last month that was stable and smooth.
Darkness Redefined focuses on its features and stability to the core, it offers large options for customization, modification and keeping in mind the simplicity of usage. Keeping the features aside, the stability of the system is high and after several testing and feedback from users, the final builds are released.
In this ROM most of the features are working for basic usage and the best part is that the battery backup is more than any other custom ROM’s that have been ported to Lenovo Vibe P1m. The working list of this ROM are WiFi, RIL, audio, camera, camcorder, Bluetooth and many more, the developer claims it to be bug free but when we have tested the camera in low light then we faced the same bug which is present on different custom ROM’s as well and that is the green colour, but in daylight the camera is lag free and has no bugs at all.

How to Install Viper OS For Lenovo P1m
- Copy the Custom Rom & Gapps on your SD card
- Reboot to custom recovery (Turn off your device then press Volume Down Button + Power Button together)
- Clear cache, system, Dalvik Cache, data
- Go back and select install then select the custom ROM and slide to install
- If you want Google core apps like contacts, play store then flash Gapps as well
- Once the installation is done, reboot your device
- Wait for 3-5 minutes till the home screen is shown

when i was installing this for a second time, it asks me whether to install old apps or start fresh. no matter what i chose at the end of process is stops and start again and asks for starting fresh or using old backup
