The wait is over, finally, Lenovo A6000 Lollipop Update is released which is Lollipop 5.0.2. You can download and upgrade your Lenovo A6000 to Lollipop and enjoy the lollipop features. But please be aware that it is lagging a lot on Lenovo A6000, but after uninstalling the bloatware the device is running smooth and on Lenovo A6000 Plus it is running smoothly without uninstalling any bloatware, but we would suggest you uninstall the applications that are not required.

  2. Stock ROM of Lenovo A6000 Plus Lollipop 5.0.2
  3. Backup all your data

How to install Lenovo A6000 Plus Lollipop Update

Step 1: Copy the ROM zip

Step 2: Boot into CWM Recovery

Step 3:  Please take an entire backup of your current ROM through the CWM menu. So that you can restore it back if you fail to install the Lollipop  update on Lenovo A6000 Plus

Step 4: Enter recovery mode

Step 5: Wipe off data

  •  Factory Reset (wipe data,cache and dalvik cache)

Step 6: Flash the stock ROM. You might get Status 14 error but do not worry. Just REBOOT

  8. hi guys, there are two files to download above. One is the ROM & other is the “update using recovery”. Do i need to update both?

  21. as u mentioned i got “Status 14 error” & installation aborted…then post rebooting it still shows kitkat only no lollipop….its frustrating i did exactly same as u mentioned trice….did u try installing n checking it really works or not ??
