Finally, we have a stable custom ROM for Lenovo A7000 based on CyanogenMod 12.1 Lollipop for Lenovo A7000 which lets you use your device with ease and comfort. The previous version of this ROM had a lot of bugs which have been fixed and now we can say that this ROM gives you the stability and power to use it freely on a daily basis.

The ROM has been developed by a Russian developer, so there might be this issue of the Language, somewhere or other the apps or settings options might show in Russian language but we have tried our best to translate them and fix them to English. CyanogenMod 12.1 would be a better option for you, but there is another custom ROM based on Lollipop 5.1 that you might like, Lenovo A7000 MIUI 7.1 Custom Rom is based on MIUI and has a different feature which is more enhanced and rich in experience.

How to Install

Step 1: Copy the CM 12.1 zip, GApps zip and Supersu zip in your SD Card

Step 2: Boot into Recovery

Step 3: Please take an entire backup of your current ROM through the CWM menu. So that you can restore it back if you fail to install the cm 12.1 custom ROM.

Step 4: Enter recovery mode

Step 5: Wipe Factory Reset / Wipe Cache / Wipe Dalvik

Step 6: Flash the ROM and then the GApps

Step 7: Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2 minutes)

NOTE: Please be advised that this custom ROM has a lot of major bugs. If you still want to use it then you can download it. Please do not complain or ask for any solutions further. If you’re a developer and know how to fix it then you can download and find a solution yourself and let us know too. We would suggest you to flash new ROM’s for Lenovo A7000 based on Oreo that have stability and great performance, few custom ROM’s are Nitrogen OS, MAD OS, Omni ROM, Lineage OS (Formerly known as CyanogenMod)

  2. when u gonna work on cm12 for lenovo a7000? As many users are waiting for cm12(I am one among them). consider this as a request becasue lenovo build rom is not good and for now aosp rom for lenovo a7000 is some what stable. I didnot find that rom in this site. but aosp is good. But we are waiting for cm12 stable rom. I know u didnt own lenovo a7000 but cosider making a cm12 rom for a7000. Thanks in advance.

  3. Thanks for providing custom rom for lenovo a7000 (and roms for other devices). We are looking for stable cynagenmod rom for our devices. Release the bug free version as soon as possible.Because we are not happy with the lenovo stock rom and their useless updates. Once again thanks for your work.
