One of the custom ROM for Lenovo K3 Note based on Android Oreo which has been ported by AKS12 from XDA and you can download the firmware from the bottom of this article. The custom rom is in English by default and has a lot of modifications and tweaks.

How To Install

Step 1: Copy both the files to your SD card

Step 2: Boot into Recovery

  • Or simply connect your phone and type adb reboot recovery in fastboot window

Step 3:  Please take an entire backup of your current ROM through the TWRP menu

Step 4: Wipe Data / Factory RESET

Step 5: Wipe Cache, Partition, Dalvik and System

Step 6: Select the ROM & GApps and flash it

NOTE: According to the author of this custom ROM, we can confirm it has no bugs and tested by many Lenovo K3 Note users who have reported it to be the most stable AOSP based custom ROM for their devices.   3. Hi Is it possible to set up “double tap wakeup”, in this ROM. Very impressive ROM. “Double tap” is the only feature I miss. Please advise.

    • Hi does this mean you have updated the ROM with the “double tap” feature. If yes, I want to download and install the ROM. Cheers

  7. I can’t get this ROM to work – after setting up the wifi, it gets stuck on ‘checking for updates’ which I can’t skip. Also the gapps linked above is no good as it’s not 64 bit.
