Flyme OS is the native operating system of chinese smartphone company Meizu, the user interface of this operating system for android devices is very attractive and gives a rich feeling to the end users. The custom rom has been ported by Dhana Mari who is one of the developers of Coolpad Note 3 and he ported this rom for his personal use but he also shared it with everyone so that others can report the bugs and others problems being faced. The rom is working well but with one major bugs of front camera not working by default but it can be fixed by installing some 3rd party camera application. The custom rom is not flashable but it is a TWRP backup which can be restored using the TWRP recovery menu. So download the backup and install the custom recovery.

How to Install Flyme OS

Step 1 : Extract the Flyme_OS_4.5.3A port by Dhana.zip file and copy under TWRP/BACKUPS/DEVICE NAME/PASTE HERE on your sd card

Step 2 : Now reboot to TWRP recovery menu

Step 3 : Now Advance wipe & select system, data, dalvik cache, cache.

Step 4 : Go back and click Backup and Restore and select Flyme_OS_4.5.3A port by Dhana.zip and flash

Step 5 : Reboot (boot may take 1-2 minutes to reach the homescreen)

Steps to enter Recovery mode in Coolpad Note 3

• Press and hold the Volume Up Button + Power Button.
• When you see the Bootloader Screen, Release the Power Button + Volume Buttons pressed until you see the Recovery Screen.
