We all are fond of modified games and applications and when it comes to 3rd party applications installation or non-market applications on our android device we start getting nervous for the first time but it is quite easy to install 3rd party apps on our device and moreover you do not require a rooted device to install the apps or games which are manually download.
Sometimes what happens we do not find the applications/games listed on Google Play Store like WhatsApp Gold and then we’ve to download it & install it manually on our android device and when we do the same and try to install them then we get the message that “install blocked“. How To Install 3rd Party Apps/Games on Android Device
Step 1: Goto the Settings menu on your android device
Step 2: Then open the Security menu (Here you’ll get to see many other options, it is better to ignore them and head over to the next step)
Step 3: Tick Unknown sources (Allow installation of apps from sources other than markets)
- Now you have enabled 3rd party applications installation.
Step 4: You can now head over to your file manager and then install the application or games manually and there won’t be any restriction to install them on your device.
Remember if you have any doubt or feel like your Android device is now not protected or vulnerable then you can always un-tick the Unknown sources tab.
