Is TikTok Application Working Out to Introduce a Monetization Model?

TikTok has become one of the most prominent apps across the world and it has a huge level of audiences. In the year 2019, the TikTok app registered about 44 percent of the videos that were downloaded by the people. Yes, it’s that big! However, despite this much download, there were some severe concerns raised by the U.S. Government over TikTok.

The U.S. Navy had to ban service members from using the TikTok app. The app had massive popularity in the year 2019 when it comes to its download and generating revenues through that. With over 1.65 billion downloads registered in the previous, about 738 million people installed this app on their smartphones.

But TikTok didn’t have a monetization model where people who were sharing content in the form of videos could also earn. According to the new report, TikTok is not taking a step forward to generate revenues and is experimenting with new means of monetization. Although the app made about $176.9 million in the year 2019 in terms of revenue, its all-time stood at about $247.6 million.

When compared to the 2018 reports, the app registered more installations in the year 2019. In 2018, it is reported that about 655 million people installed the app in their Smartphone while recording about 219 million downloads in the same year.

The app has become one of the most downloaded apps across the platforms of Apple and Android in the year 2019. Now it’s going to be a piece of great news for influencers if they introduce a monetization model.
