Lenovo A6000 Mokee Nougat Custom ROM [Official]

Lenovo A6000/Plus development is still on in 2018 and the custom ROM’s are pretty good, you might get confused on choosing the right one for you. Fortunately, all the custom ROM’s ported for Lenovo A6000/Plus based on Android Nougat are pretty much stable and working smoothly. Lenovo A6000 Mokee Nougat

The ROM is ported to both Lenovo A6000 and Lenovo A6000 Plus running on 64-bit CPU architecture and Android 7.1.2. You can download and flash the custom ROM using TWRP custom recovery.

Instructions

Step 1: Copy the Mokee 5.1.1 Custom ROM and GApps in your SD card

Step 2: Boot into Recovery

  • Switch off your device
  • Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader
  • Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery

Step 3:  Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)

Step 4: Now go back and click install and then click one level up

Step 5: Search for the Mokee Nougat Custom ROM and flash it

Step 6: Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2 minutes)

Conclusion: After a week of usage, we can conclude that this Mokee Custom ROM is a good alternative for the stock Lollipop Vibe UI and can be customized according to the users choice. The battery performance is not pretty good by default, but if you install Greenify, then it will give you a better battery backup as it hibernates the running apps in the background.

  5. Everything Is GOod… BAttery isnt good for first time … after full charge its working perfectly … smooth ram …. and for camera use any outer app like retrica or google camera….. best rom than others ( Better Than Lollipop Version)….

  6. The rom is good except for the Bluetooth…. It works …but when I play music in my car over Bluetooth …it disconnects after few sec and the song continues to play in the phone

  7. Thanks for the rom.. the rom is butter smooth and everything working fine.
    There are some minor bugs.
    1. Slight delay while making calls.
    2. experiencing low call volume
    the main important thing is we need more and more improvement in camera, the pictures are full grainy..
    Over all best lollipop rom for A6000/plus till now .. except camera.

  9. Forgot to mention about the camera. It needs a lot of improvement. Can admin or any one give me the stock lollipop camera apk?? I forgot to back up. It might improve the camera quality.

  10. Running smoothly on my 6000+, no battery issues, actually better that official lollipop. P.s – hv nt installed greenify. Fm is not a concern for me as i dont use it.
