Lenovo A6000 Vibe Ui 2.9 custom rom is based upon stock lollipop 5.1.1 Vibe UI rom for Lenovo A6000 and Plus. There are lots of new features and modifications and it uses less ram compared to the previous version Lenovo A6000/Plus Vibe UI 2.5 Lollipop Custom Rom. The new custom rom Vibe UI 2.9 for Lenovo A6000 is running on 64 bit cpu architecture with system tweaks and better ram management. Once you install this custom rom you won’t revert back to stock lollipop rom which is still officially on android version 5.0.2 but this custom rom is based on the latest stable android version 5.1.1. You just need to download this rom from below, flash is using team jav’s twrp custom recovery and followed by the gapps 5.1.

How to Install Vibe UI 2.9 Custom Rom

Step 1 : Copy the Vibe UI 2.9 Custom Rom and Setup Removal Wizard in your SD card

Step 2 : Boot into Recovery

  • Switch off your device
  • Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader
  • Connect the USB to your PC/Laptop and then flash TWRP recovery (read the guide here)

Step 3 :  Make full wipe including “system” (data, dalvik, system, cache)

Step 4 : Now go back and click install and then click one level up

Step 5 : Flash the ROM and then the Setup Removal Wizard

Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)

  33. hi i am using vibe 2.9 some error find such as having problem with key bord having problem with gps working too long some bus apperare

    • reboot and then again go back to recovery and re-flash, do not forget to clear dalvik/cache/data

  38. Check and uncheck options are inverted .. like if you enable vibrate while ringing then you’ll have to uncheck that option to work ..And it comes with a lot of chinese text and frustrating apps .. my phone was heating up real good .. Lenovo A6000 plus

  40. Well that’s a bad signal for you .. your phone is bricked probably .. Because twrp already bricked my phone many time ! So yeah .. do some research and use advanced techniques to get rid of it !! Good luck

  49. i am using this vibe ui rom 2.5 & 2.9 working good but the gps is don’t trace my location.
    lenovo theme center language is chinese. how can i change theme & location language.

    • The language bug would be there. Sorry for the GPS problem though. You need to flash a stock rom and then this rom.

  50. I am using mokee 5.1.1 rom now. When i flashed the rom by clearing data, dalvic cache, in TWRP it shows success but when booting not startinv anything. Just on a black screen. Not booting. Can u plz help. My phone is Lenovo A6000 plus

    1.After flashing Gapps ,it starts behaving abnormally,,
    system UI crashes down,etc.
    2. Focus of camera is not good.
