Lenovo A7000 AOSP 6.0 Marshmallow Custom Rom

Lenovo A7000 had recently received the official Marshmallow upgrade and users are pretty satisfied with the performance and stability. The development of this device has increased and we can see many developers porting different custom roms for it. So, here we present you AOSP custom rom based on latest android marshmallow operating system which is the most used and common rom for most of the android devices. The following AOSP 6.0 rom has been ported by Maxritz from 6753 zoppo speed and it can be installed by restoring the TWRP backup. For this you will require TWRP installed and the rom backup, please read the instructions carefully.

Instructions To Install

Step 1 : Extract AOSP-A7000-MM-TWRP-Techolite.com.zip and copy the files in this format (folders) on your sd card

  • TWRP>BACKUPS>WCNZTWD6OFCMLFMR>2016-04-26–11-37-22_ZP951_20160330-120131

Step 2 : Boot into Custom Recovery (TWRP)

  • Switch off your device
  • Now press Volume Down + Power Button together for 2-5 seconds until you see the bootloader

Step 3 :  Go to backup/restore and select restore from external memory

Step 4 : Select the backup and swipe to restore

Step 5 : Flash the Gapps

Step 6 : Reboot (the first boot can take up to 2-5 minutes)

Step 7 : Do a factory reset once for smooth functionality

NOTE : We haven’t tested this custom rom personally and we cannot confirm if it is stable and has good battery backup. You can test it and let us know if there are any bugs present and do take a backup of your current rom.
