How to Install Lenovo Vibe P1m Viper OS Custom Rom

  1. Copy the Viper OS ROM and GApps on your SD card
  2. Reboot to custom recovery (Turn off your device then press Volume Down Button + Power Button together)
  3. Clear cache, system, dalvik, data
  4. Go back and select install then select the custom rom & the sms patch and slide to install
  5. Flash the gapps as well after this
  6. Once the installation is done, reboot your device
  7. Wait for 3-5 minutes till the home screen is shown

NOTE :

  • Once you have set up after the first reboot, the Google activation requires wifi access point to log in, else go to settings and enable the mobile data and then log in to your google account.

  4. I share a similar problem with SAGAR BHOOSHAN , I cannot receive sms. Apart from that, this rom is more or less perfect

  5. What is the battery backup?..is it better than aosp?
    And I request MIUI 7..not only me…everyone wants it.
    I guess the devs have started for MIUI, can you tell us how much will it take?

I ‘ve flashed this rom couple of days ago and have flashed the sms patched but still I am not able to send messages throwing an error “Unfortunately stopped ….” so I installed app “Textra” now I am able to send messages without any problem but I am not receiving any messages. I tried sending messages from other phones to my number but not receiving any of it.
    One more bug is , I do have dual sim and in Sim 1 its only showing 2G network which can’t be changed since its disabled but sim2 has 4G which can be changed. Kindly address this issue asap.
